15 Sep 2008 - Battle of Britain Week

This year the Royal Air Forces Association will hold its annual Wings Appeal between Sunday 15th and Sunday 21st September.

In both Northwich and Winsford there will main day will be a collection in aid of the RAFA's Wings Appeal in the shopping precints of both towns on Saturday 14th September. In Northwich the band of 146 ATC Squadron will entertai shoppers with a selection of music.

On Sunday 21st the Northwich Branch of the RAFA will hold its Battle of Britain Service of Commemoration at the Cenotaph, Witton Church ay 14:30hrs after which all are invited back to Wings Club, Station Road, for refreshments.
